Himanta Biswa Sarma sworn in as 15th Chief Minister of Assam

NEI, Guwahati, 10th May – Senior Leader of Assam BJP Himanta Biswa Sarma sworn in as 15th  Chief Minister of Assam . He along with 13 Cabinet Minister took oath today at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati. Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi administered the oath of office.

Along with Mr. Sarma 13 ministers also took oath today includes 10 ministers from the BJP, while 2 ministers from Asom Gana Parishad and 1 from UPPL are included in the Himanta Biswa Sarma led ministry.
National President of BJP J P Nadda, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, Rameshwar Teli,  Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Sangma, Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb, Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio , Manipur’s M N Biren Singh, and Nagaland’s . Apart from that, the Former state Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal , MPs and MLAs of state and Senior party leaders were also present.
